Cost and lead-time management
Being able to offer our customers the most accurate view possible of the costs and deadlines involved in their project is one of the skills that we have long refined and capitalized on at INEXIA.
Costs and deadlines, two factors which are intimately linked, are managed constantly throughout the project. The crossing point between these two factors is operational planning. High performance planning is one of the key factors for successful projects.
The most important decisions in terms of costs and deadlines are taken during the upstream study phase. This stage involves providing reliable estimates. We have based our expertise on feedback which is regularly optimized and by the use of cost ratios for each type of structure, according to the environment, geology and so on.
During the production stage, when the financing plan is defined, the budget is monitored by rigorous work contract management and a physical operations progress monitoring mechanism is put in place to respect the stated deadlines. Deadline management uses both the GANTT diagram (Primavera P6, PSN tools) for optimum task planning modelling and also space/time type schedules (TILOS tools).
This dynamic management based on real time event recording enables trends, discrepancies and drift to be analyzed at any point according to the established reference in order to take the appropriate corrective measures and to adapt to the final objectives.
