Ecology management
Integrating transport infrastructure projects into their environment requires acknowledgement of the conservation and protection issues relating to biodiversity and natural environments as early as possible
and throughout the projects.
INEXIA's teams, which are made up of ecologists and bio-geographers, are experts in carrying out studies to manage the environment while respecting customers' requirements and current regulations.
These studies, which require intense work in the field, are used to determine natural habitats and survey species of land-based fauna and flora by carrying out stocktaking. Our experts also take account of the aspects that relate to ecological engineering with the setting up of solutions to restore and rehabilitate work sites, introduce crossing points for animals or restore rivers and streams to ensure ecological continuity.
This expertise also extends to the procedural domain with the drafting of regulatory files in keeping with the water law or the Natura 2000 network.
"In the context of the rail connection project between the communes of Honnechy and Busigny, we carried out flora and fauna studies to define whether species or protected species habitats could be affected and so determine the suitable measures to preserve them". Noémie Thébaud, Superior Environmental Technician.
