Transport infrastructures are by their nature an area of activity that constantly requires specific new solutions. At INEXIA, innovation runs through every project and is in the practices of each of us.

In order to gather these initiatives together within a unique and consistent approach, in 2011 INEXIA created a Scientific Department to encourage the development of new tools and offers, while adopting a leading role in the innovation approach within the company.

INEXIA has identified areas for innovation on which it works more specifically and for each territory communities practices were created, bringing together employees who want to share their knowledge:

Sustainable and responsible infrastructures,
Safety and Reliable, Available, Maintainable and Safe infrastructures (FDMS),
New working methods,
Optimised systems.

INEXIA is also involved in a more global innovation approach by participating in national research projects with private and institutional partners. Among these partners are the Association Française des Tunnels et de l’Espace Souterrain (AFTES) and the Syntec-Ingénierie.

INEXIA is committed to a voluntary sustainable development policy, both for its projects and its company practices.

Operation and maintenance

In the context of project management and project ownership assistance missions, INEXIA offers its customers a service to manage the operation and maintenance of their railway infrastructure. Once the work is complete, this involves running the infrastructure according to expected performances and maintaining it in the nominal condition required throughout its lifetime.
