Layout
The development of an infrastructure layout is a summary work which bears witness to the quality of its analysis and prior studies. In fact, the layout determines over 80% of the costs, deadlines, performance and impact of an infrastructure.
So, from the upstream phases to the execution phases, layout development at INEXIA is a collective operation involving projects managers, engineers and draughtsmen. It has one objective: to produce the best ideas.
The geometric insertion studies for an infrastructure into its site are used to define a plane and cross section for the layout while respecting the rules that apply to each type of infrastructure (major rail projects, tramways, etc.). Powerful CAD tools (2D or even 3D) are used to present an optimum visualisation of the insertion of the structure into the site.
The integration of the structure into the environment is fundamental at INEXIA. We take pride in taking account of the topography, the obstacles to be crossed, proximity to industrial or residential sites and the preservation of natural environments.
"We carried out the preliminary studies for the RER C director scheme and we are continuing with more detailed layout studies related to the reconstruction of Brétigny station. This is a major challenge as the site, which is located in an urban setting, hosts a wide range of tracks and very dense traffic which will be maintained throughout the work!" Jean-Marc Thébault, Layout Hub manager.
