Structures
The "Structures" department has 45 staff divided between Paris and Lyon. They carry out design studies and are involved in creating bridges, viaducts and all types of support structure.
Our teams, made up of engineers and draughtsmen design structural projects integrating all constraints provided by customers and other activities to suggest optimised and innovative solutions.
They intervene in the context of project management and project owner assistance missions or specific expertise missions. Their area of competence enables them to cover all study stages, from exploratory phases to the execution phases.
They carry out structural calculations, develop production methods and produce structure definition plans.
With their adapted calculation tools they are able to carry out structural studies on all types of structures (reinforced concrete, prestressed, metallic and mixed) as well as specific studies into structures' dynamic and seismic behavior.
Their wide range of structure design and creation experience in highly constrained sites, operated rail sites in particular, enables them to offer reliable solutions in terms of work phasing and cost.
"The Mulhouse rail connection to link the Strasbourg-Mulhouse and Mulhouse-Lyon lines requires the construction of a series of structures over 600m, for which we are involved from the design to site monitoring. This is a complex project as it is in an urban site with multiple constraints: crossing of the Rhine-Rhône canal and a road and tracks running next to each other; all of these axes will remain in operation during the work".
